Duterte bares matrix of alleged drug lords funding Maute-ISIS’ siege of Marawi

President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday night released a matrix of alleged drug lords allegedly involved in funding the siege of Marawi City.
Duterte first revealed of the matrix during his fifth visit in Madawi City on Thursday.
In a press conference, Duterte said the military completed the matrix by identifying the personalities allegedly involved because the troops were wondering why the terrorists did not run out of firearms, ammunition and other resources.

"How come that Marawi until now is still fighting? Let me ask you a question. We’re in the third month. How come the Maute brothers and the terrorists were able to stockpile so much ordnance and bullets and ammunition and IED?" Duterte said.
"Saan nila kinuha ‘yun? And three months, I said, there were still fighting. I don’t know if there’s fighting going on. But that is one. And we were looking for the source of the money," he added.
"We have now a good picture of what happened in Marawi about the drugs. This is the matrix," Duterte said.
He said slain Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog was one of those who helped finance the pro-ISIS Maute group when they attacked Marawi City on May 23.

Duterte had previously said that illegal drug trade funded the Marawi siege.
