Erwin Tulfo shows what's inside the Marawi temporary shelter




Erwin Tulfo of PTV News, proudly showcased one of the sample units of temporary shelter for victims in Marawi City.

According to the report of National Housing Authority (NHA), the size of the houses are 22 sqm, and it's only costs P160,000, compared to the temporary shelter made for the typhoom Yolanda victims that costs P800,000 and only 10 sqm size.

Tulfo said that seven people can live comfortably inside the Marawi shelters and they also included a comfort room and kitchen inside.



Aside from temporary shelters, the government is also planning to build satellite office of PTV in Marawi City.

President Rodrigo Duterte declared the liberation of Marawi City and his announcement also marked the start of the rehabilitation of the said city that suffered a five-month long war because of the terrorist group Maute.
